Adventures of Amy and Momoh

We did it!

I told Momoh that I was going to start counting up – you know, to keep it interesting. Just wait until we get to day 1,496… will he be tired of it yet?! (haha) But honestly, why count down and not count back up? So here we are on day +3 of our married life.

Our day was full of fun, laughs, love, and happiness. THANK YOU to all who helped us throughout the day and came to celebrate with us either in person, in spirit, or online – we livestreamed via Momoh’s Facebook for friends and family across the globe. We are blessed and humbled by the whole day and just keep talking about how much fun we had. It was a perfect Wisconsin day! I’m grateful that the huge hail storm with funnel clouds passed through during our rehearsal dinner the night before instead of during the wedding…

This is a very short post, but a meaningful one nonetheless. More pics to come soon, but for now I will leave you with this one of our unity ceremony where we were putting the sunflower petals in the candle stand my dad handcrafted for us out of padauk, walnut, and canary wood. I asked him to create something beautiful, and like always, he did everything in his power to make my dream come true. Thank you, daddyo!
